Travel for 597 metres through some of the world's tallest forests and become one with the treetops at the Huon Valley Tahune Forest Airwalk. Walk among some of nature's giants at this must-see attraction as you are granted breathtaking views of the forest canopy and the floor way down below, as well as the nearby Huon and Picton Rivers. With a multitude of different forest trails to choose from that cater to visitors of all fitness levels, you can pick one that "fits the bill" for you.
A wide range of different tall tree species are visible including eucalypts, celery tops, King Billy pines, blackwood, sassafras, beech, myrtle, flowering leatherwood and the gigantic Huon pines dating back in history over 1000 years, and whilst on the walk you will enjoy scenic views of the Hartz Mountains and Tasmanian World Heritage Areas.
