The ultimate gift for wildlife thrill seekers, Crocosaurus Cove near Darwin offers the chance to brave the massive saltwater crocodiles of the region inside the "Cage of Death" - an underwater glass enclosure that is lowered into the pools containing these huge amphibious predators! This experience unique in Australia will give guests a one-of-a-kind experience; after a full instruction and safety briefing from our staff, those brave enough will enter one of the three available purpose-built, transparent Cages of Death and be gradually submerged into the same water as the crocs.

Over the next fifteen minutes, they'll tread water as they come face to face with these massive creatures. Best of all, an on-site photographer will capture 360-degree views of both swimmers and the crocs inside and outside of the enclosures. Do you know someone brave enough to brave the Cage of Death? One of the best experiences of my life. All the staff are fantastic and could not have asked for a better time. The whole place is amazing. Worth every dollar spent. My 3yr daughter was a little bit scared when she saw me being lowered into the tank, but that soon disappeared and was very happy watching me.

I had a great time in the Cage of Death. Initially, it was hard to see Axel as the sun was shining on a part of his enclosure so even underwater there was a lot of glare coming off the shiny metal. However, once he moved over closer to the cage I was able to see him really clearly.

I got there and checked in straight away it was a very easy process . Than we read and signed paperwork I even had time to get photos with a baby crocodile called Fluffy . Next I got walked over to the cage and got put in. The first crocodile was not interested so they pulled me out and eventually it worked with the next crocodile. It was a amazing experience to be so close to a crocodile but safely. The staff were friendly and helpful just the photos were quite expensive so if possible bring your own go pro.
