This was a gift for my partner. He had a great time and got to drive and have a hot lap with a professional driver. The staff were courteous and helpful. Good fun. The only downside was that the sd card we purchased to video the drives only had 1 good video on it because the first drive didn't video and the 2nd was taken with mud over the camera lense. Luckily the one that did work was the hot lap.
I honestly had more fun driving an old Datsun 200b around my mates farm, seriously this gig is over rated and over priced, the staff are nice enough no complaints, but they have everyone who is booked for the day turn up at the same time so you end up sitting waiting for your turn watching everyone else go before you, the car I drove in didn't feel like it had any more power than an old 200b.... I'm not kidding, I wasn't expecting a full race prepared rocket but I was expecting something with a little bit more get up and go, the buggys do have decent suspension..... the car I drove had weak brakes - in a way I can understand the under powered cars because I would imagine some extremely inexperienced ppl turning up for a drive, overall I was not impressed and I wouldn't recommend this to any of my friends/family - whats more I live on the North side and the track is a very long drive from home, so it takes you an hour or so to find this place, then you wait another half hour for your turn, spend 15 minutes actually driving the buggy on a very ordinary dirt track with 1 weak jump.... if that's your idea of a fun time then go for it you won't be disappointed, one more thing while I'm here, to get some go pro footage using their cameras expect to pay an additional 40 bucks, and for the privilege of using your own go pro you will be slugged 20 bucks....I can understand some charge to use their camera but $40?! and actually charging $20 for you to use your own is a real kick in the guts. To sum my experience up - it's lame, and expensive.
