Wow, wow, wow! So I received a voucher to go to the sanctuary for my birthday. Best birthday ever. I also added to it and bought the VIP Wildlife Encounter Tour. On the day I ended up being the only person the tour, so I had my guide Erin all to myself. It was fantastic. The sanctuary itself is an amazing place. The care and work they are doing for, not only endangered animals but the local wildlife is wonderful. While I was there I got to see two Tasmanian Devils getting dental check-ups and the third surgery was busy looking after an injured animal that was brought in for treatment. My guide Erin was fantastic. She was a fountain of knowledge not only about all the animals but the flora and fauna in the park and the park itself. I can not recommend the centre enough. It was a true pleasure to visit.

We had a really lovely day at Healesville Sanctuary. My son especially loved the koalas and kangaroos. We attended several shows and talks including a wonderful bird show featuring birds of prey and other birds including cockatoos. The kangaroos' talk was very informative and interesting. It’s a calming environment, a very relaxing day. It was very busy the day we went but still a really good family day out only an hour or so drive from Melbourne. I would recommend everyone should go to the sanctuary. It’s well worth the drive through the stunning Yarra Valley!

I visited the Sanctuary with my 9year old grandson yesterday. We would like to have seen more animals, especially the koalas close up, but enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and were enthralled by the 'Spirits of the Air' display. The amenities were also excellent, clean and well-maintained, and it was great to have so much access to fresh, cold drinking water around the Sanctuary on such a hot day. Many thanks and best wishes to all creatures great and small and all the staff at Healesville Sanctuary Park.
