I chose to try out the Melbourne Star at sunset and it was beautiful! It was light enough to get a great view over the city, and then seeing the colours of the setting sun from so high up was incredible. The staff were all helpful and friendly and they made sure there weren't too many people in each car. $10 was a fantastic deal too!

A nice and relaxing attraction that offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Melbourne. Just a note for parents though: I came with a pram and was not allowed to bring it on. Also, you can only bring small bags (no backpacks; not even school backpacks). But you can bring as many bags as you like.

We went during the night. It's a slow moving wheel.... you can see lights and buildings that are good but you can also miss it. Not a must do experience. There are some announcements happening from speakers and walls are transparent. Experience is better if there are lesser and quieter people in the capsule.
