The Blue Mountains

The Blue Mountains are known for world-time charm, beautiful scenery (both in the summer and winter months), and the rich cuisine found at a variety of quaint collection of eateries. The Blue Mountains is a breathtaking part of New South Wales and a day or overnight trip means discovering the extensive landscapes, and the World Heritage Area, via hiking and guided trail walks. The most notable landmarks include The Three Sisters rock formation, Echo Point, Wentworth Falls Empress Canyon, and the Scenic Railway.

Two hours by train, 90 minutes by car, and about 30-hours by foot - the Blue Mountains lies 129km west of Sydney. With Byron Bay and its surrounding areas of Bangalow and Brunswick Heads on the rise, it has become one of the most visited of 'cosmopolitan cool' places along the coast.

Take your partner or grab a group of friends for an unreal couple of days exploring the beachside town. If you're interested in getting active during your stay, we offer the Sea Kayaking.
